At the intersection of music and physics lies human experience; there too my life is and has always been centered. I have come to believe that music and physical science both epitomize the balance between carefully derived mathematical principles and spontaneous creativity and offer solace in confronting the notion that as humans, we know very little but experience very much. These ideas directed my attention to the night sky in my youth. They now also draw me to study, compose, and perform music, actions which constitute a broader investigation into human consciousness and experience through musical and scientific inquiry.
